Wags Salon:
Wags salon is built for one to one dog grooming with no cages and minimal restraint (just a strap around their neck to stop them falling from the equipment and harming themselves).
If your dog needs a rest they can go for a run in the garden or stretch out on the salon floor. During their time here they also receive plenty of cuddles & reassurance to help them feel safe and cared for at all times.
Our equipment comprises of an electrically operated bath & grooming table, ensuring it can be lowered and raised, making it easier & safer for your dog to be handled, especially if they have mobility problems.
We have a variety of shampoos, to ensure your dog has the correct formula for their needs and helps them to smell nice, fresh and clean when you collect them.
Kate:
Throughout her life Kate has dedicated herself to animals, from family dogs, working with horses and volunteering at a local dog kennel.
She has taken any opportunity to be around animals to make their lives fun and fulfilled, therefore the only vocation she could possibly do was to include animals in her life. After completing a two year Animal Management level 3 course at Suffolk Rural College and a Dog Grooming Level 3 Course, which also included First Aid, she was then ready to set up Wags Dog Grooming!
Wags is based on Kate's ethos that each dog is treated in a kind and loving way in a safe, secure environment. She takes her time to work with each dog and its specific needs, to ensure that a groom is a pleasant experience and your dog will be happy to return.
